Scott Eisenberg is a Co Founder and Managing Director of Lake Shore. Scott is responsible for implementing the strategic objectives of the company and for overseeing key acquisition, construction, financing and disposition decisions. Previously, Scott was Head of Investments for a dedicated India real estate private equity fund and also has significant experience developing and managing real estate assets in the United States. Scott received a BA from the University of Michigan and earned a JD and MBA from the University of Chicago.
Ashwin Puri is a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Lake Shore where he has the overall responsibility for setting corporate strategy and for all aspects of Lake Shore’s core business activities. Ashwin has over 20 years of retail real estate experience and has been involved in the design and management for some of the largest and best performing shopping centers in India. Prior to establishing Lake Shore, Ashwin was CEO of Pioneer Property Zone, a mall development and management company that was a joint venture with South Africa based Old Mutual. He also spent 5 years leading the development of Bentel International in India (an architectural firm specializing in mall design) and with Interpark ICS (now Secure Parking). Ashwin received a Bachelors in Commerce and Economics from the University of Mumbai.
Karim Merchant is Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Lake Shore where he has primary responsibility for acquisitions, structuring, financing and portfolio management. Prior to joining Lake Shore in 2015, Karim spent 9-years with GID, a Boston-based real estate investment and development firm. At GID, Karim oversaw the conceptualization and growth of a real estate development management platform in India, helped establish GID’s joint venture development and investment program in Brazil and was involved with GID’s international investment initiatives across Asia, Europe and Latin America. Karim received an MBA from Babson College and a Bachelors in Commerce from the University of Mumbai.
Ishwaran Iyer is Chief Financial Officer at Lake Shore. Ishwaran is responsible for financial management, accounting, tax, treasury management, risk management, compliance and audit for Lake Shore, its Funds and portfolio companies. Prior to joining Lake Shore in 2016, Ishwaran worked with Piedmont Development, a subsidiary of Boston-based GID. Ishwaran previously worked in the corporate finance group at KPMG in Delhi and with Ernst and Young in Bahrain. Ishwaran is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Masters in Commerce from Annamalai University and a Bachelors in Commerce from Calcutta University.
Prajnya Shetty is Chief People Care and Development Officer at Lake Shore and its affiliated companies. Prajnya joined Lake Shore in 2017 and has been instrumental in setting the culture for the organization. Prajnya has responsibility for talent acquisition, training, employee engagement, payroll and implementation of the Group's benefit programs. Prior to joining Lake Shore, Prajnya spent ten years in human resources with the East India Hotels Group, the parent company of the Oberoi Group of Hotels in Mumbai. Prajnya has an MBA in human resources and a BSC in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai.
Sunil Shroff is Chief Portfolio Officer - Operations at Lake Shore. Sunil has responsibility for overseeing budgeting, leasing, marketing, tenant fit-out and operations for Lake Shore's operating portfolio. Prior to joining Lake Shore in 2018, Sunil was CEO of Viviana Mall, one of the largest and best performing regional malls in Mumbai. Sunil began his career in 1995 with the Taj Group of Hotels and has held senior positions with Sodexo, Inorbit Malls and the Wadhwa Group. Sunil has a degree in hotel management from Rizvi College Mumbai and a B.Com from the University of Mumbai.
Gurvineet Singh is Chief Business Officer - Leasing at Lake Shore where he is responsible for all leasing related activities for Lake Shore’s portfolio and for managing key strategic tenant relationships for the group. He has over 16 years of direct leasing and shopping center management experience. Prior to joining Lake Shore, Gurvineet was CEO of Viviana Mall from 2018 to 2022 and has also worked with the Inorbit Group and with the Future Group. Gurvineet holds a Masters in International Business degree from ITM Business school Mumbai and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications from Bangalore University.
Daryush Marfatia is Group General Counsel at Lake Shore and is responsible for all of Lake Shore’s legal and compliance functions. He is actively involved in Lake Shore core funds management, investment, financing and operating activities. Prior to joining Lake Shore, Daryush spent 12 years with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, J Sagar and Associates and Bharucha & Partners during which time he worked primarily on real estate acquisitions, diligence and litigation. Daryush began his legal career as a judicial clerk at the Bombay High Court. He has a BLS LLB degree from the Government Law College in Mumbai.
Ayush Rastogi is Vice President and part of Lake Shore’s investment management team. Ayush is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring and execution of transactions for Lake Shore’s Funds. Prior to joining Lake Shore, Ayush worked in the leasing and capital markets groups at Cushman and Wakefield and JLL. Ayush holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
Parag Kumar is Vice President and part of Lake Shore’s investment management team. Parag is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring and execution of transactions for Lake Shore’s Funds. Prior to joining Lake Shore, Parag worked in the real state credit group at Yes Bank and the development group at Godrej Properties. Parag holds a Bachelors in Engineering from IIT Roorkee and an MBA from IIM Calcutta.
Amish Keniya is Head of Lake Shore’s Design Studio with oversight of all design including structural and MEP groups. Prior to joining Lake Shore, Amish spent 15 years with PG Patki Architects, one of Mumbai’s largest full service architectural firms where he worked on over 50 projects across India, with an emphasis on five-star hotels. Amish is a qualified architect and holds a Bachelor of Architect Degree from Mumbai University.
Dheeraj Upadhyay is Vice President – Contracts and Procurement at Lake Shore. Dheeraj is responsible for tendering, vendor management and contract negotiation for Lake Shore’s portfolio companies. Dheeraj began his career at Reliance Industries and has worked with INX Media and Samsung C&T before joining Lake Shore in 2018. Dheeraj holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Management and Infrastructure Development from NICMAR and is a qualified Civil Engineer.
Kshitij Hinger is Vice President of Projects and Construction at Lake Shore. Kshitij is responsible for managing Lake Shore’s construction portfolio, including for pre-development planning, contractor assessment, budgeting and program management. Kshitij has over 17 years of construction management experience. Prior to joining Lake Shore, Kshitij worked with Reliance Infrastructure for ten years where he played a senior role in the construction of the Mumbai Metro. Kshitij holds a Bachelors degree of Technology in Civil Engineering from IIT Bombay.
